Twilight – I saw the film because I wanted to try it. Yes, I am a Harry Potter fan but that do not mean anything. I did not find the movie that immense or dreadful. In fact, it could have been better with the cast selection. I never read the Twilight books but I even ran into real fans (Those who read the books before the Movie existed) who did not think the cast fitted perfectly. There are many moments where Bella becomes annoying and Edwards deliver some poor performances. I thought maybe the casting director would have figured this out after seeing Robert Pattison in Harry Potter. He was not that great. Same smirk and smile in both films did not help his character. Bella character lacked growth after moving into the town of Forks, Washington. The director did an average job. Female or not, She had some poor decisions made in the film’s setting and style. The combination of both worlds (Vampires and Humans) did not translate very well. As all I know everyone could have been a vampire since the mood and setting stayed the same since the beginning in Phoenix, which should have had a warm and dusty vibe instead of cold and wet. Soundtrack was nice and the Radiohead song in the end added a great touch to the film. The film was not indeed bad, but did not meet the hype it had. It will not rise to great vampire films but it should not fall either. With that said….
Twilight gets a 6 out of 10.
Edward Cullen: If you were smart, you’d stay away from me.
Isabella Swan: Ok. For arguments sake, let’s say I’m not smart.
